What should I wear?

Clothes! And shoes/sandals! Be comfortable. Some folks will dress up a bit, but most wear casual, comfortable clothes. Like most places, we ask that folks wear shirt, shoes and pants (or dress/skirt), please! Shorts are fine, too.

 

How long is the service?

It usually lasts about one hour. We do have conversation about the Word after the reflection, so it may go about 15 minutes longer on some days.

 

Is every Sunday-morning service the same?

Early services are more formal and later services are more informal. Our 8:30 a.m. music tends to be more traditional piano-based music, with some variety. The 10:15 a.m. service music is often more contemporary, reflecting the diversity of the gifts of the people who gather, with a full band the first and third Sundays of each month. At both services, we try to be hospitable to all who might visit and participate.

 

Is there food? 

The good news: Coffee and snacks are back (most services, anyway)! 

 

What about the kids?

Bring them! They can stay with you in worship (there's a PrayerGround just for them) or there’s a nursery for those four and under at our 10:15 gathering. We expect kids to have wiggles and giggles; that’s all right. The worship space is their space too. We all work on being mindful to help one another hear, see and participate in the gathering.

 

Which doors do I walk in? 

Most folks come in through the first set of doors (the doors closest to Brilowski Road). When you come in, you should be greeted and someone will point you to the sanctuary (straight ahead if you come in the first set of doors).

 

Where should I sit? 

Wherever you’re comfortable. 

 

Nursery?

It’s down the hallway on your left (in the gathering space/narthex) and on the left side of the hallway.

 

Bathrooms?

They’re down the hallway on your left (in the gathering space/narthex) and on the right side of the hallway by the water bubblers/drinking fountains.
